The Art of Recovery mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity for redemption and renewal regardless of their circumstances. We are dedicated to empowering the incarcerated recovery community by providing accessible resources, support, and avenues for creative expression. With a firm commitment to inclusivity, we offer our services at no cost to inmates, recognizing the importance of removing financial barriers to participation. Through decades of collective experience in peer support, recovery communities, and the arts, our team brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to our work. We understand the unique challenges faced by those navigating the complexities of incarceration and recovery, and we are committed to providing tailored programs and services that address these needs with empathy and compassion.

 

Central to our mission is promoting economic empowerment and self-expression among the incarcerated population. Through our innovative business model, we directly involve inmates in creating and selling merchandise, providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents and earn royalties from their work. This approach fosters a sense of agency and pride and is a powerful tool for rehabilitation and reintegration.
